Florida Rule 12.285 Mandatory Disclosure Deadline Calculator
Under Florida Family Law Rule of Procedure 12.285(b), each party in a family law proceeding must serve the required financial affidavit and mandatory disclosure documents upon the other party within 45 days after the service of the initial petition, or at least 10 days before any temporary hearing.

"A party shall serve the required documents on the other party within 45 days for an initial or supplemental petition for dissolution of marriage... or at least 10 days before any temporary hearing... unless the court sets a different time."

Understanding Florida Computation of Time Rules
Time calculation in Florida civil and family proceedings is governed by Florida Rule of General Practice and Judicial Administration 2.514 (Computation of Time):
- Day of Event Excluded: Do not count the day of the act, event, or default that begins the period. Counting begins the next calendar day.
- Final Day Inclusions: Count the last day of the period, but if the last day is a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday, the period continues to run until the end of the next day that is not a weekend or legal holiday.
- Certificate of Compliance: Along with the served records, you must file a Florida Family Law Form 12.932 (Certificate of Compliance with Mandatory Disclosure) directly with the court clerk.
