Under local family court procedures, hearings on temporary child support or alimony cannot be docketed until both parties have filed certificates of compliance under Rule 12.285.

Mandatory Filing Requirements in Volusia County

• Form Selection: Parties with annual gross income under $50,000 must file Form 12.902(b); parties earning $50,000 or greater must file Form 12.902(c).
• Electronic Filing (E-Filing Portal): In compliance with Florida Supreme Court standards, all family law financial affidavits must be filed electronically through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal.
• Rule 12.285 Compliance: The certificate of compliance (Form 12.932) must be filed with the clerk, while underlying sensitive records are exchanged directly between counsel or self-represented litigants.
• Redaction Obligations: Pursuant to Fla. R. Gen. Prac. & Jud. Admin. 2.425, social security numbers, bank account numbers, and minor children's names must be redacted before filing in the public docket.
